For prospective undergraduate/graduate students

We generally accept 2-3 summer interns with life science or information science background every year. Allowance is available, depends on your domicile place. Summer interns are required to conduct novel but small-scale projects at MEIL, under the supervision of Dr. Lin and other MEIL researchers. This program is only for domestic students (but not restricted to Taiwanese), details can be found: http://brcsip.biodiv.tw/

Students from international universities interested in visit Taiwan for summer internship are also welcome, please prepare an internship proposal and your CV before contact Dr. Lin.

We accept undergraduate/master students from domestic universities. Allowance is available. Students are required to conduct high-quality research under the supervision of Dr. Lin and other MEIL researchers. BRCAS does not have a master program, so graduate students should be affiliated to an university and find your university mentors at first.

We accept remote interns from international universities. Allowance is not available. Remote  interns are required to conduct novel but small-scale projects under the supervision of Dr. Tzu-Hao Lin and other MEIL researchers, through the internet. For prospective postdocs

Competitive postdoc positions for PhDs graduated from domestic and international universities. Averaging acceptance rate: <40%. Independent funding is available for top 10% candidates (0.5M TWD per year, 2 years, can apply for renew once), depends on the proposal and evaluation of Academia Sinica. Competitive postdoc positions for PhDs graduated from domestic universities. Averaging acceptance rate: <20%. Independent funding is available (generally < 1M TWD per year, 3-5 years), depends on the proposal and evaluation of MOST. Depends on research funding, MEIL will announce postdoc positions for domestic and international PhDs. Independent funding is not available. Postdocs are required to conduct novel and high-quality research. Please prepare your CV before contact Dr. Lin.
